# Акылбек Жапаров посетил узбекский автомобильный завод UzAuto Motors

**Глава кабмина Акылбек Жапаров в ходе своего рабочего визита в Узбекистан посетил автомобильный завод UzAuto Motors в городе Асаке, Андижанской области. Об этом сообщили в пресс-службе правительства.**

В ходе ознакомления с производством Жапаров отметил, что автомобильный завод наглядный пример привлечения инвестиций и эффективной организации производственного процесса.

> «В рамках развития торгово-экономических связей между двумя странами необходимо налаживать промышленную кооперацию. Первые шаги в этом направлении сделаны. Теперь необходимо только наращивать темпы взаимовыгодного сотрудничества с заводом UzAuto Motors с тем, чтобы имеющие договоренности уже в ближайшее время воплотились на практике», — подчеркнул он.

Строительство завода в Асаке началось в июне 1994 года. В настоящее время под брендом Chevrolet с конвейера предприятия сходят такие модели автомобилей, как Spark, Nexia, Cobalt, Lacetti (Gentra), Damas, Labo, Malibu, Tracker, Equinox, Trailblazer, Traverse и Tahoe.

В прошлом году на заводе было выпущено 327 тысяч автомобилей, в этом году планируется произвести до 400 тысяч автомашин.
