**The list of business types required to use fiscal software with data transmission functions has been expanded in Kyrgyzstan. The new requirements will cover public catering enterprises, hotels, bathhouses and saunas, filling stations, medical organizations, and shops. The connection will take place in six phases until February 1, 2029, the State Tax Service reported.**

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted the corresponding Resolution No. 737 on November 4, 2026\. The deadlines for mandatory connection depend on the type of activity, area or capacity of the facility, and its location.

> The first phase in the document is set **from August 1, 2026** for certain categories of business in Bishkek, Osh, and Manas. Subsequent phases will extend the requirements to other cities and districts of the country.

#### **How fiscal software works**

Fiscal software automatically records sales, generates fiscal receipts, and transmits settlement data to the tax service directly from the enterprise's accounting system.

According to the State Tax Service, the new system allows entrepreneurs to simplify transaction accounting and enables tax authorities to receive more comprehensive data on business revenue.

> The decision to expand the list was made following the results of a pilot project that had been in effect since September 2025\. The tax service reported that after connecting to the fiscal software, the average daily revenue of participants increased significantly. The agency attributes this to a more complete reflection of cash settlements.

The document provided for six phases of mandatory connection.

> According to the State Tax Service, by the end of the pilot project in late July, **more than 1,300 entrepreneurs** using fiscal software at **more than 2,000 facilities** had connected to the system.

The tax service had previously [reported](https://economist.kg/biznes/2026/06/01/gns-vyruchka-zavedenii-fastfuda-v-kr-vyrosla-v-razy-blagodaria-novomu-po/) a surge in the reflected revenue of fast-food establishments after transitioning to the new system.
